ZoeBee

ZoeBee was opened in 2002 as a bakery, creamery and specialty gift shop carving out a niche in the area market catering to specialty foods lovers and culinary product buyers. The store was historically rehabbed with Federal Tax Credits by Gwen Russ and Milli Kliewer, a mother-daughter partnership. The renovation of the 1928 building in the historic district was a family affair where Gary, Gwyn's husband, worked laboriously on the old Masonic Lodge building for six months. A loft apartment was also creatively adapted to the upstairs' space with a featured claw tub in the bathroom. The two-bedroom loft has remained occupied since its inception.

ZoeBee is located at 107 N. Market Street and is open Monday through Friday from 10: a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on special occasions and festivals. A limited lunch menu is offered, but is high on quality and great on taste. Come visit the historic atmosphere of the early 20th century building replete with pressed tin ceilings, plastered walls and period appliances. The bakery has an aroma that wafts onto Cordell's Main Street and is an added sensory bonus for people walking the historic square.

If you need baked goods including birthday cakes, cookies by the dozens, special made pastries or just a good old fashioned chicken salad sandwich on foccacia bread--you have got to come visit ZoeBee on the historic square in Cordell. Call Milli Kliewer and her courteous staff at 580-832-2404 or
